Marvin Coleby is the CEO and Co-Founder of Raise, a startup building products that simplify the buying, selling and storing of securities in Africa and emerging countries. He is also a technology and securities lawyer from Dentons, and previously a trade and financing researcher at the McGill University Faculty of Law. Marvin is currently a fellow at MakerDAO, where he is researching ways for MakerDAO to onboard real-world collateral into collateral debt positions on the blockchain.
